06 August 2026 in Mogadishu, Somalia — The Second Cohort of the Online Course on Somali Law Making has successfully concluded with a graduation ceremony attended by more than 100 participants, marking another important milestone in strengthening legal and legislative capacity in Somalia.
The graduation ceremony was held in an atmosphere of great joy and celebration, bringing together successful participants, lecturers, program partners, and distinguished guests to recognize the achievements of the graduates. We were honored by the presence of Jan Schmidt, alongside the lecturers who contributed to delivering the course. The graduates expressed their great satisfaction and appreciation for the knowledge, skills, and learning opportunities provided throughout the program.
Graduates Appreciate the Learning Opportunity
Speaking on behalf of the participants, Deeqa Ali Omar expressed her sincere appreciation to JustPeace and SOMLAWfor providing this valuable learning opportunity.
